History in Pictures

1832

What is today known as the Woodstream Corporation got its start by a young hunter and trapper named Sewell Newhouse in Oneida, NY.

1890

Victor® mouse and rat traps as we know them today make their debut in Oneida, NY.

1902

Victor® manufacturing moves to Lititz, PA where many of our traps are still made to this day.

1940

The Lititz, PA facility engages in war work of various kinds including army cots, coat hooks, fuse plugs, wire springs for parachutes, and bullet cores for several different calibers.

2004

Victor® starts using FSC certified wood on all its wooden snap traps.

2008

Victor® starts the manufacturing of its Victor® Fast-Kill brand in its Lititz, PA facility.

2010

Victor® transfers the manufacturing operations of its Quick Set trap out of China and into its Ellendale, MN plant.

2012

Victor® adds two Fast-Kill® brand options to its already existing line of products manufactured in its Lititz, PA facility.
